Dre Scandrett was first introduced to kickball during middle school, inspired by a local women’s league that his family not only played in but eventually operated. Surrounded by the sport from a young age, Dre officially began playing league kickball in 2019 and became a full-time tournament player by 2021. With a background in baseball, basketball, and football, Dre naturally translated his athleticism into kickball. He started his kickball career as a catcher but soon transitioned into the charger position—a role where he continues to develop and dominate. One of his primary goals is to become one of the top chargers and overall kickball players in the nation. Dre’s standout moment to date was representing the sport on ESPN, marking a major milestone in his professional kickball journey.
